Greenmarket Style, June 2020
For the past decade or so, New Yorkers haven’t dressed up much to walk around the neighborhood or run errands. That seems to be changing slightly as the economy opens up a bit more while gyms stay closed. This time we know for sure you aren’t schlepping around in yoga pants because you just came from a class. There was no class! We also may be finally tiring of athleisure.
Case in point is the Union Square Greenmarket, which is thankfully open, ready for business and well-managed for social distancing – and a good place to show off a real outfit. These two wore one print that keeps popping up, especially in face masks – tiny florals. Pretty and old-fashioned, they’re just what the summer ordered.
